Travelling to Windermere
By Car
Travelling north, leave
the M6 at junction 36 onto the A591 to Windermere. Coming south,
leave the M6 at junction 40 onto the A66 heading west, then turn
left onto the A592 until it joins the A591 to Windermere. When turning
off the A591 into Windermere Village, look for Lakes Hotel after
100 yards, on the corner of High Street and Victoria Street.
By Rail
There is a regular main
line service to Oxenholme Station (2 miles outside Kendal), where
local trains connect to Windermere. Our hotel is just 150 yards
from Windermere railway station.
By Coach
Most London / Birmingham
/ Manchester / Carlisle / Glasgow services stop at Windermere. Our
hotel is just 150 yards from the coach and bus stops. |
